So that's 5 points for Wii, 4 points for GameCube, 4 points for 64 and 2 points for SNES. But if I was ranking systems by the amount of enjoyment I got out of them, it's all equal. I've been playing Nintendo games all my life since the original NES and GameBoy. I'm starting to wonder if they'll ever make a console I DON'T like.

alot of my favorite games are on the ps1 though...so they can't be considered but Azure Dreams, ff7, ff8, the original Virtua Fighter in the arcade, samurai showdown, bushido blade, breath of fire dragon quarter (ps2), GTA 3, and all incarnations of monster rancher, harvest moon, and tekken are amazing games that i had to sort through to figure out that list. also bust a move (neo geo) is a great one.

I thought I understood it until you listed all the systems with points and then what I assume is your personal list but several games had the same points and that to me didn't make sense with your system. You're basically all over the place bud. So here's my stuff:

The best Nintendo system is the Nintendo. The NES. It's why we're all here. And when you're 10, and games are new to the world, and every game has a touch magic in it, everything is the greatest game. You can't duplicate that. Those were the days....

I'm almost 10, I'm 14.

I joined in the N64 era.

And it's the points of the games added up to the system.

Definitely the SNES has the best Nintendo console but also the best console ever made.

Am I the only person that thinks that OOT isn't the best and that Goldeneye N64 is the best?

Best console? N64 without a doubt. Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye 007, Mario Kart 64, Starfox 64, Smash Bros., Banjo games, Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Excite Bike, Paper Mario, Starcraft 64, and so many more.

Best game ever IMO - Ocarina of Time followed closely with Majora's Mask.

Best console: To me, N64, with the NES coming in a close 2nd

Best 5 games:

1st) Mario 64

2nd) Super Mario 3 (NES)

3rd) Smash Bros. (N 64)

4th) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 (NES)

I'm more of an old-school gamer, so I favor these games. I have a lot of other games I wanted to choose, but these 5 I had the most fun with. I know this isn't part of the survey/poll, but here are some of my honorable mentions:

Paper Mario: TTYD, Super Mario RPG, Star Fox 64, Battletoads (SNES Version), MariKart 64, Super Mario Bros 1 (and to a lesser extent #2), Turtles in Time (SNES), Zombies Ate My Neighbours, Bart Vs the Space Mutants (even with the broken controls), Donkey Kong 64, Donkey Kong Country 1&2 (and to a lesser extent #3), Super Mario World, Mario Party 2, LoZ: OoT (and to a lesser extent LoZ:MM), Link to the Past, Shadows of the Empire (N64), Diddy Kong Racing...god the list goes on. I'm tired of typing now. There are at least 50 more. I like games. The End.

I cant pick a fav ninty sytem and I have bought every one of them since the nes and still line up for them today. My top five games are as follows although it would be easier to put top 5 for each system! I update these every New years eve!

Still right at the moment here are my top 5.

1 - Zelda OOT

2 - super metroid

3 - metroid prime

4 - mario 64

5 - chrono trigger

I do think that the "cube" was a very much underappreciated system however and remember it was at that time when Nintendo were the uncool company. Things have changed somewhat! I love nintendo gameplay!

Obviously, everyone on this board is quite young. SNES, easily, the best console Nintendo ever released.
