What do you think Pokemon games are missing?

This and multiple save files would be my favorite choices.i want one that combines all the regions and pokemon, and i would like the hm to stop taking up a move slot because most of them suck :P

Though I was wondering if with the fourth edition we were going to get a "region" version instead of the gem / metal naming system. Instead give me a Jhoto, Kanto, Hoenn and um... whatever this one is called (crap!) version. You can still split things up, can still get trades in, and if you link with a friend maybe you could open up a path to one or more of that regions gyms. If you force a one connection = one gym style you get the nice trading stuff to go through that Nintendo has always tried to implement. And imagine if you could beat all 32 Gym leaders and then all Elite Four members that you could get an Ultra Elite Four with one member from each region?
Sure it is a lofty goal / want, but I could totally see it working. :)
Edit: Oh, and one more thing, I'm fine with the graphics, but update the sound. The MIDI style files were fine for the late 90's, but now give me something that sounds good. You can easily put a little voice clip in so that when a Haunter comes out there isn't a staticy crash but instead you get to hear "Haunter" or "haunt, haunt, haunt". Something that sounds like a Pokemon noise.

actually the naming system colors, gem, metal is actually derived from the pokemon adventures manga they have that goes through all the games the main character is red aka ash, blue is gary, green is some girl that steals squirtle from oak, yellow is a girl from viridian city that has a power to see pokemons feelings, gold is the boy from gold/silver/crystal, silver is the rival that steals totodile, crystal is the girl from the game, ruby is the white haired boy from ruby, saph, emerald etc etc i havent gotten that far i just started reading gold/silver/crystal arc.
its pretty lenghty manga that has 28 volumes atm each volume is about 200-230 pages about the pokemon games.
