No, if I want to play a game I'll play the original. Unless remakes have some huge upgrade, like a whole new part of the game, like Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen, then they're pointless. Especially when the Wii is already backwards compatible.
Think of them from the perspective of someone who has never played the games. Yes, there's bargain-bin hunting, but some people would rather take advantage of their Wii controls.
actually on second thoughts, Metroid Prime will benefit a lot from wii controls. the others not so much. but pikmin 2 is a good choice as it's a somewhat rare game, so buying it new should be cheaper.
No more after this set from Nintendo. I guess I could understand if there was a gc game that could really benefit from motion/IR controls, but I don't think there are any more (that could really benefit). The two most asked for seem to be Wind Waker and SMS, and neither could benefit much from new controls.

Zelda Ocarina of Time show these noob games what real games are made of! Baten Kaitos. Where the hell is Starfox!? LOST KINGDOMS, good game on gamecube would like one on Wii. SKIES OF ARCADIA, where the hell is the sequel...why is this game not on Wii? Tales of series, yeh I know about vesperia but why haven't they made one on Wii? Luigi's Mansion 2 which they said they were doing but I haven't heard news since 2007. I want a bomberman for Wii. F-zero Killer 7 never played but Wii needs more FPSs. I have a lot more but I will end it there.

I may be nearly alone on this one, but I think a Killer7 wiimake would be amazing. As a rail shooter (of sorts) it would be perfect for the wiimote, and could instantly clean up the control scheme of the GC version. The mature storyline and the emphasis of plot over strict gameplay might make it a draw for "casual" wii owners interested in, say, avant-garde movies. Add in extra content and a lower retail price, and it would be an embarrassment of riches.
How about developers put more effort into making new games and less lazy work into making slightly updated and slightly more polished remakes, ports, whatever?
No more remakes.....More ACTUAL Wii Makes! Remakes from higher powered consoles that are ported to the Wii doesnt look pretty...::Looks towards Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop:: And Im NOT excited about Dead Space....
