Old military acronym. Frelled up beyond all recognization. If you are going for farscape slang to get by censorship standards on tv and message boards.

I'm sorry your going to have to save up and get a new one. I think trying to repeiar it would only be a little cheaper then just going out and buying one. My I just a black lite.

I would just buy a new one. Even though it might be a bit cheaper to just fix it, they problem might happen again. So in the long run buying a new one will be worth it.

Usually when Nintendo repairs a console or portable it doesn't have a problem for the next ten or so years unless the user damages it.

Nintendo isn't Microsoft or Sony when it comes to game hardware reliability.

You could try selling it to the store and get as much money as possible of it, then work your way up.

Yeah some stores buy damaged systems. And if you didn't already have a DS Lite you could get one.

Those stores if they sell damaged systems to uninformed customers should be sued out of existance. Just contact Nintnedo. A repair would cost less then a new unit and depending upon when you bought may very well be covered by the manufactorer's warranty. Usually when Nintendo repairs a system under warranty they renew the warranty.

Buy a used old DS, I think they go for about $80 at Gamestop or EBgames. And you wouldn't need to worry about accessories, seeing as you already have them from your busted DS (like stylus and charger and such)

What common sense should tell you to do: get a new DS or get the DS fixed.

From GameFaqs:

1. Make sure your ds is clean

2. put your lips onto the side of the shoulder button

3. Blow into it really really hard

4. press it a little bit till you see it works

5. repeat steps 2 through 4 till it works

Personally tested it...and it does work. Seriously. And I live in a country where I have to ship it abroad just to get it fixed. ^_^
