I have been DS(less) for about six months. I am getting the DSi when it comes out in April and I know for sure that I will get Pokemon Platinum and GTA: Chinatown Wars for my first two games... Anyone have any suggestions on games that have come out in the past six months or so that I should also consider picking up?
Since you're getting Pokemon Platinum I'm assuming you like JRPGs so I'd suggest Chrono Trigger if you've never played it, DQ IV and V are out now, and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor is coming out this summer. If you like SRPGs you might want to pick up Fire Emblem DS, Disgaea DS, and both Advance Wars DS games if you can find them.
The World Ends with You & Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia are both really fun. Those are the only two I have right now. My brother has Prince of Persia: The Fallen King & it's okay but it's a little different.
