I use the stylus that came with the ds. If I'm in class I use my pen/pencil/stylus so it isn't as obvious that I'm not taking notes.TankZorz
dude u play ds in class... jealous!!
I use an weighted, telescoping stylus. It works and kinda looks like an antenna. For adult hands and extended play it's VERY comfortable. It wheighs about as as much as a bic pen, and is maybe 1/2" to 3/4" shorter than a full size pen. Fits right in the regular DS lite slot. Well worth the six bucks I paid for it. Made by Hori so it's a quality product.

It says its made by Nintendo, but its made for Nintendo by Hori. Well worth it if you can find one in stock.
I only have the stylus that came with the DS Lite. I have no plans to buy anything different.Wiz007Fo sheezy

wouldn't it scratch your touch screen after a while if you didn't use a proper stylus?
i used the one that came with the original ds before i lost it a week ago (my sister had the bad habbit of chewing the end of the stylus when she plays my DS, so the stylus didnt fit properly into the hole and it fell out somewhere). now i have to use the tip of my nail

It's one of those 3-in-one writing utensils that include a pen, a pencil, and a stylus. And I have Hori screen protectors on it so I'm not really worried about using a different brand of stylus.
I only play advance wars which doesn't really require much attention so I still know what's going on.

I've seen them at every store that has a section for office supplies. Walmart, Fred Meyer, Office Depot, etc., etc.
I have the extendable pen, but it's thinner than the original. I also have the bendable one that came with a Zelda package. So far I like the original one best." - Songdor
I've seen the thinner extending styli. The one I linked to at Renchi has the same diameter and length on the lower half of the stylus as the OEM DS Lite stylus. Once it's extended only the top half has a slightly smaller diameter. This doesnt matter as it's the part that rests in the webbing between the thumb and forefinger. I've seen several entending stylus that "rattle" when in the DS and are so thin they tend to bend when extended or collapsed. This stylus is made of steel (so it has some nice weight to it as well as strength), and has a good chrome finish made for many years of use. The only other metal one I would recommend would be this one.

I only used it (a pal of mine swears by it). It truly feels great for on the heft and grip side of things. Very well made and worth every penny. What I dont like about it is the length. I like the stylus to rest in the webbing between my thumb and forefinger and to have my fingers hold the grip while fully extended. The same way you would hold a real pen. The smaller size of the standard DS Lite stylus tends to make you keep your forefinger and thumb bent and closer in towards your palm. That causes fatigue for me. The main reason I refused to buy the orginal DS was because of the ultra, tiny stylus. I hated that thing.
