What The Virtual Console Is Missing

Well, besides Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, and Majora's Mask? What the Virtual Console is missing are those games that are really "of the times."

There are many Disney games like Ducktales, Chip & Dale's Rescue Rangers, and Darkwing Duck should be available at some point. The same can be said about Warner Bros. games like Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures. The same also goes for games based on movies like Top Gun, Total Recall, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

Where's Waldo? Yo! Noid? Cool Spot? These guys eventually need a home here on the VC. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles just ain't enough.

I would not be to surprised if we never see games like these. Much like SEGA, from what I can tell Nintendo is a Japan first company as of late.vashkey

There's already tons of Nintendo game there, but yeah you're right in a way. They should up the number of games released every week from 3 to 5 or 6.

Japan comes first in the eyes og Nintendo. At least with some things. Like Check Mii out, Everybody's Nintendo channel, their japan websites etc. Many things go to Japan first and foremost.

Schucks. I was going to list all of those. I also want Sega Saturn and Dreamcast games to get onto the VC so I could play NiGHTS before getting the new one and so I could play Soul Calibur. I also would love it if GameCube games got released because in a few years the old games like Pikmin will be hard to find and placed like GameStop and EB games no longer carry new GameCube games once they're released (should a new one be released today, for example).

As for games on consoles already on the VC, the original Mario Pary's would be awesome. The N64 ones were my favorite. Once Rare is freed from Microsoft, I would kill for Banjo Kazooie, Tooie and Conkur's Bad Fur Day to get released as well.

You are correct, the VC is missing a lot of good games. Now adays I would never consider buying a Disney based game, but everything back then was a classic.

I can't wait to see games like Ducktales on the Wii VC, although I have throughly mastered Chip & Dale on my NES, so I doubt I'll be getting that one.

I used the GC controller for Mario 64 and found it better than the Classic Controller. As for the VC, I would like to see more support from the big third party developers who had LOTS of good games like Capcom and Konami. Too many first party crap NES games like Volleyball that nobody wants. We also need a game from each system released EVERY week.

It would also be nice if we had a firmware update to have an NES Channel, N64 Channel etc. This way, we would not have to have a seperate channel for each game.ciaran22

Me too. And I want all the old Atari systems on there.

I would love to see the original Clock Tower. It's a great horror survival game that is sure to make anyone shiver...

Also, Megaman games would be nice. Megaman soccer especially, lol.
