I play my Wii on a really old tv and I don't really have a problem with it and I don't think the Wii supports 1080p? Not entirely sure about that.

I have some Normande Tv, and it's ok. I don't think it matters how big your tv is, but it could get annoying with small tvs because some games require pointing with the wii remote.

Ive had my wii hooked up to an old 20in tv then a new 19 inch HDTV with and without the hd cables and a 24in HD tv with and without HD cables. All the set ups worked fine of course the largest tv with the hd cables was the best but there were no problems on the smaller one or the older one.

I use a SAMSUNG 32" LCD HDTV with Component cables. The picture is definitely clearer in 480p than 480i, but the picture isn't as smooth. However, when I'm playing METROID PRIME 3, the picture is unbelievable!!!

EDIT: I would recommend an LCD over a plasma because the LCD uses less power and will not burn an image in the screen.

I play my Wii on my 42 inch LCD Toshiba... But when I want to download something or play online, I always take it upstairs to my older 22 inch standard-def Samsung because the Wi-Fi connection is better upstairs. But usually it stays downstairs for Brawl. Plus, 8-Bit NES VC games look awesome on an HDTV.

I play it on my dad's 57" huge TV in the basement, primarily because my family doesn't want me occupying our living room TV and I refuse to play in my brother's room. I have a 13" in my room but it's ancient and doesn't even have the proper plugs for a Wii.

I have my Wii connected to a 37" Samsung 720P lcd television via component cables. The Wii supports 480P resolution so whether you use a 720P or 1080P tv it really won't matter. The biggest thing, especially if you have an HDTV, is to make sure you buy component cables, otherwise the graphics will be compromised greatly.

6ft tall!! When you play virtual console games like NES the pixels must be like a few inches wide! Would be nice to hook a ps3 to that or maybe a pc running dual geforce 280s

Samsung 72 inch with 1080p. I use the component cables and it really helps. Some of the games look very sharp. Every game I have tried has looked at least good.

Lol, it's a big screen, maybe 42"? I dunno. Games such as Guitar Hero are a little bit more difficult because of how much wider the screen is then a normal tv. Other than that, I love playing on the big screen. Mario Kart, TP, and MP3 were made a lot better by the big screen.
