I want a AAA first person shooter with great control and outstanding visuals with a killer online component supporting > 8 players that will surpass Halo 3, Team Fortress 2, and COD4 in every way, shape, and form.
Oh, that's right, The Conduit is already in development, silly me.
I would also like to see more mature games like Left 4 Dead, GTA 4, and RE5.

I hope you've actually played those games, currently it doesn't even come close to those games.

I played through COD4 two times and both Halo, Halo 2, and some multiplayer matches in Halo 3, so I know the competition that the Conduit is up against.
I played it on 360 and, after changing all the sensitivity settings, couldn't get the control just right for using an analog stick.
If you did not know that the Conduit was a Wii game, you would confuse it for a 360 game. This happened to some people at E3 08.
An MSR/PGR quality racer there a none worth getting at the moment.
F-Zero
Jet Set Radio Wii Edition - Like the first one but use the Wii mote to be the spray can and the nunchuk to guide the skater.
A game like Headhunter on the DC as well would be cool or a Sandbox game like Crackdown on the 360.
A game like Burning Rangers from the Saturn
A big ol' JRPG like Grandia II or Skys of Arcadia
A big ol' western RPG like KOTORI or II or to a lesser degree Jade Empire or Fable.
All that sort of stuff.
Hmm... I think I would like to see a revolutionary fighting game that doesn't require a GameCube/Classic Controller to be very enjoyable. As I started to look into what the Wii could do, the one genre I thought would struggle on the system would be fighting games. Honestly, I would love to see a developer or two come up with a really appealing fighter to prove me wrong. :P
More than the type of games, though, what I really want to see is developers coming up with new and creative ways to push the Wii. I think that is what has been lost in recent memory, as more focused has been put on simply finding a successful game or two that can keep publishers successful on the system. I actually think the potential is there for an entirely new genre that may not be possible on any other system, but in order for that to happen, a new focus on Wii game development has to take place.
