Which VC game or series that you bought on the Wii have you played that took you back to when you were younger when you played it the most when you were younger? For me, it was the Donkey Kong Country series. I've never played any other series as long as that when I was younger. I really loved it and it was my first VC games. I still remembered the music and most of the levels. I remember playing it where I used to live, beating each one like 3-5 times, and playing contest with my best friend. How about you guys?
none of them really considering the first game i ever played was super mario 64 and the gc controller doesn't help the controls. i found the VC a really big waste of wii points cards. but that's just me.
Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Donkey Kong Country, Super Metroid, Gradius, A Link to the Past and Little Nemo. I think two of these aren't on the VC, but these are the games I played all the time as a kid.
Instead of listing the usual suspects (SMB3, any Metroid or Zelda game) I'll list one that I really enjoyed but maybe not that many people even played: Volleyball. It really was a fun game. I remember always getting my ass kicked on level 5 setting. Damn, that was tough. You could even choose between playing a women's or men's match. The men's matchup was faster paced. I even enjoyed playing that Sinjin Smith beach volleyball game. I remember being a kid and thinking it was cool that you could get a yellow or red card.
Another series that I played that I hope they release on the VC is the Super Star Wars series for SNES. I could never beat Empire Strikes back, but was able to beat the other two.
