I went to a store to rent a game, and I saw both Okami and Animal Crossing: City Folk. Guess which one I rented? Unfortunately, City Folk. Don't ask me how I got more interested in City Folk, because I don't know either. Not to say it's a bad game, but I have a feeling that I should have gone with Okami. What do you guys think? Should I have gotten Okami instead?

I think it depends on your game interests, but based on your reaction I think you already know you would've liked Okami more. :)

Personally, I would have gone with Okami for a rental. To get the most of out Animal Crossing, it's better to play shorter sessions over a longer period of time, but that's just what I think. Both are very enjoyable games, so hopefully you'll be able to have some fun with it.

Unless you are thinking of purchasing City Folk and rented it to get a feel for it, then it was a good idea. If not, Okami is a great rental let alone purchase. Amazing game.

None of those games should be rented. They are the kind of games you have to buy. Okami is a rather long game, and Animal Crossing is a game you play a little bit every once in a while for a long period of time.

Not only is Okami far superior but I don't think City Folk is a game you should rent, it requires days, weeks and months of gameplay.

But I don't advise you to rent Okami either because that is a game to keep in your collection.

Okami isn't really a game you rent. You should just buy Okami for $20. Animal Crossing is a good game to rent cause you can do enough with the time you have to see if you like that game or not.

Since City Folk is a game you can't really beat, you probably should have gone for Okami.

Just don't ask Ammy to help you with your laundry now, http://thedailynissan.deviantart.com/art/Okami-Amaterasu-Rejuvi-slash-63531894

That could be you.

meh is just a rental. And renting okami is like renting Mario Galaxy,I mean...it will be a long run and sleepless hours trying to beat it in a hurry before you return it next week, and miss loads of content...Not really advisable.

I think you made the right choice renting City Folk, because the only thing to do with Okami is buy it and proudly display it in your collection. Besides its like $20 and is like 60 hours long, it's totally worth it.

Hell, right after completing it my cousin came up to me and said, "Okami is my favorite game ever!" I wasn't as wowed as he was, but it's one of my favorite Wii games.

Animal Crossing is a horrible game to rent. It's the type of game that takes atleast year to see most of what is has to offer. It's long and unending so unless your rental period is "infinite," you made a bad call. Okami is better for a rental but it's still a 30-40 hour game, you should only rent it if you have a ton of time to kill. As for quality, I haven't played City Folk but the first two Animal Crossing were pretty awesome and addictive. As for Okami, I own the original PS2 version and while it is a very pretty and engrossing game, a lot of people have overhyped it so try lowering your expectations just a tad.
