When I opened up my Wii, I was pumped. I think that goes without saying. The motion controls impressed me right away and Wii Sports had a lot to do with that. I still play Wii Sports bowling fairly often and I must say that the game, thus far, has aged quite well.

As for my family, put it this way: my parents, sister, and grandma (seriously) have their own Nintendo Wii. I'm certain that anybody who gives the Wii a try will love it. *** OFFENSIVE CONTENT REMOVED BY MODERATOR ***

It was so much fun to first open the Wii and set it up. Takes no time at all to hook it up and start playing. Wii Sports is a blast! If you have never played it, it is just so different from any other video game that you are amazed at how well everthing controls (except boxing, which I could never get into). We played Wii Sports for days before trying anything else. Next was Zelda, and the graphics are beautiful, the game play very long, and the controls are emersive. Swinging the controler to swing the sword and pushing the nunchuck forward to hit someone with the shield just makes sense. Even though it is not a one-to-one control system, it is much more interactive than just pushing buttons. But that is still not as good as the graphics and controls for MP3. Now that game starts to show you what the Wii is really capable of. Those controls are excellent. They take some getting used to. I suggest that when you first land your ship at the very beginning of the game you use the practise shooting game to the right. There is a pad on the floor and two targets pop up in front of you. When you shoot one, it jumps into the air. The point is to shoot it again before it hits the ground and keep shooting it to keep it in the air for as long as possible. My record is 15. It helps you to react more quickly to the point and shoot thing.

I remember being shocked at how small the thing feels in your hand :P

This should tell you how much my whole family likes the Wii. My little sister is getting one for in the livingroom so we'll have two total lol.

We've had several Wii sports bowling tourneys too. Its great fun and the whole family will like it.
