Well for me, No More Heroes, it got so many good reviews that I decided to try it... I regret it awfully. And it's not like I dropped it half-way, I FINISHED IT, and it really sucks.

Super Paper Mario. If only it had been more like The Thousand Year Door. It was still a fun game though.
Pretty much what he's saying. It was one of the most boring games I've ever played.Gyrostar: Great concept, sexy graphics, decent gameplay but its so repetitive it was boring to finish. And the end was terrible. No art, no cutscene, nothing.

I'm gunna have to make it my sig. Red Steel
The graphics sucked, sound sucked, dialogue ridculous, controls were finicky, save system was broken, and story was lame. I was intrigued by the concept, the ads and trailers looked good, but the end product was not what anywhere near what they advertised.
I've actually been quite satisfied with all the wii games that I've bought. I guess most disappointing would have to be COD WAW. Just because I mainly don't play FPS games ,and I thought it was a little too stale.
Agree, bought it, played it, regretted it. I have no clue how a game with so many major flaws got so many great scores.Well for me, No More Heroes, it got so many good reviews that I decided to try it... I regret it awfully. Animal Crossing City Folk. I was a die-hard AC fan with more than a couple hundred hours on each game but City Folk felt likethey had just switched the graphics and shoved Wild World on the Wii.
It's a tie between The Conduit and Twlilight Princess..
The Conduit because I got caught up in the hype. Twilight Princess because it was the first game I bought with my Wii alongside Galaxy, and I spent the next few days convincing myself it wasnt disappointing, then I gave up and traded it for Mario Kart:P
Super Smash Brothers Brawl. It had all the ingredients to be a legitimately fantastic game, and potentially better than its predecessor...but the developers ruined it.
Yeah I really liked that game but it was the most unpolished game I've ever played. The entire time I was thinking it needed an extra 6 months to bake and get the rough edges out.The Conduit, it's not a bad game...it's just so average.

The conduit. the only thing i really enjoyed about this game was the acheivements... And even then there were flaws
Super paper mario. I admit, I didn't really didn't do any research (I dislike platformers, was expecting thousand year door/rpg-esque game)
Metroid Prime 3 also, but not as much
from a competitive aspect yes. But you can't deny it was still a great game though.Super Smash Brothers Brawl. It had all the ingredients to be a legitimately fantastic game, and potentially better than its predecessor...but the developers ruined it.

Animal Crossing City Folk... I played it for a few days then went back to Wild World. The DS edition spoiled me; I feel no need to play the SAME game on a bigger TV with a few small add-ons. Really; the city's shops just give you EXACTLY what visitors on the DS towns did. It's a good game like every other Animal Crossing, just the exact same as every other Animal Crossing. I also didn't care for Super Mario Galaxy as much as I did SM64 or even Super Mario Sunshine. It was SO gimmicky! The spinning camera for planets and gravity swaps (Which by the way aren't new gen concepts, Sonic Adventure 2 on the DREAMCAST had the exact same thing in the mad space level with Rouge) were cool for a while; but the game just wasen't up to par with other Mario titles. The only titles I have no regrets on purchasing so far is Metroid Prime 3 (well, almost no regrets) and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn...
I still play MKWii and SSBB from time to time though.

I hate SSBB. I got it, and picked up Wii Music for my little sister. I disliked SSBB so much that I traded it to my sister for Wii Music so that my 2 year old daughter would have a game.
I haven't played a game on the Wii that disappointed me entirely, but I'll say I was disappointed by CoD: WaW's single player campaign. Maybe I was expecting too much since CoD4's single player was fantastic, but WaW was so boring and repetitive that I quit by the time I reached the second set of US Marine levels.
As for games not on the Wii I was disappointed in, I'll say Prey. It looked fun and engaging, and it was amazing at first, but it got boring and repetitive quickly (the fact that dying triggered an overly easy target shooting minigame that made it almost impossible to actually die really hurt it). Thankfully, I bought it for only $5 as part of a sale on Steam, so I didn't waste too much.
