I liked it.

From looking at it, it doesn't look like a good game's cover. It looks likesome low budget sci-fi clichegame.
It's not terrible from an artistic standpoint.
But it looks more like a paperback novel cover than a game cover.
I agree.Still, that "winning" over Guitar Hero 5's not-boxart? It may be cliche, but at least it had more than minimal effort put into it, unlike Guitar Hero 5's boxart.

But I wouldn't even say GH5 had minimal effort. I mean it was just the title in a rectangle. That's not effort...

True, but sometimes simplicity is a good thing. "The Conduit" box art is just a jumbled mess of cliche and boring drab design.
I liked it as well. Definitely among the better ones that I have seen. Using colour is not a bad thing.
I don't know I liked it. Thought it was a kinda fun boxart that showed what the game offered: basic sci-fi shooting fun. It doesn't take itself too seriously, it just aims to be fun, like a corny '80s sci-fi movie. Also sadly why the game is underrated (cmon people, it's not bad, it's entertaining and has great controls, like a 7.5 or 8/10), gamers and critics have become much to opposed to games that don't try to be a serious movie. Can't anything just be fun and corny anymore?
I dont know but I didnt really like it...

Yeah. It wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't say it was good.
It was more of a "I didn't even really notice it, and I played the game instead" boxart.
[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]Like the game itself, it was generic.ElTriforceoYet fun.... just like the game. For three hours. Three hours I wish I had back, because no.. it wasn't fun.
Some people said this but I never saw that. I always thought the box art looked nice and interesting. It always felt people were looking for things to hit the game with no matter how small. The box art complaints were always ridiculous. You could t least tell what the game was about by the cover, something that needs to be done more often. It's what helps people decide if they ask to see the back. It's eye catching. Of all the things to complain about regarding the game the box art seemed the most petty to me.From looking at it, it doesn't look like a good game's cover. I don't know about you guys, but I started dressing like this guy when I saw it. I couldn't dress up like the original MegaMan anymore, since it became anime, so I found the next best thing and went this route.
