What was your first 3ds game?

It was Ocarina of Time.

I bought Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 when I got the 3DS. Both excellent games.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy.

Not exactly the ideal first choice, but the store had a cheap brand new copy and I didn't want to leave the store without a game to play. 

One of the more underrated and over looked games the 3DS has. 

Ocarina of Time was my first 3DS game. I bought Mario Kart 7 and Kid Icarus: Uprising shortly afterwards. They are all great games, though I enjoy the latter two more because I'm not the biggest fan of Zelda games.

I got my original cosmo black 3DS (upgraded to XL this month) and got Street Fighter with it a week later. Played mostly Pokemon White and Okamiden for the first few months until Ocarina 3D and RE: Mercs.

Fire Emblem: Awakening because I'm a sucker for those types of games, and it was worth buying the system for on its own if you ask me.

Mario Kart 7 came pre installed on my 3DS XL.

Street Fighter 4, only thing out at release.  I like never play it anymore.  Barely did when it was the only thing.

Super Ultimate Street Fighter 4: Special Enhanced Optimal 3D Edition Version.

I got my 3DS on launch, so there wasn't too much on offer.

I got Ridge Racer 3D which came free with the system, and Super Street Fighter 4.

I wouldn't recommend either of these games to anyone unless they were cheap.

If I were buying a 3DS today, I'd probably get either Mario Kart 7, Mario 3D Land, Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion 2 or... Actually there are a lot of games on offer that would serve as an awesome first game... Too many to mention here :P

Ocarina of Time I had waited until it came out to get one.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, got my 3ds at best buy two days ago. I like it! Although if it weren't for the exclusive games I would've been fine without one.

I'll probably be getting New Leaf and Pokemon (when it's out) as well at some point.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (3D)! :D

I couldn't resist picking up the special edition 3DS, so it came with it. Still, playing through it again years later is just as fun as I remember, though Tales of the Abyss pulled me away before I actually finished it...

For some reason I got Samurai Warrior Chronicles. The game was ok, but just way too repetitive and tedious.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, just a couple days ago. Oddly enough, I got it based on good review by ProJared on Youtube, who gave Project X Zone, the next game I'm planning to buy, a 4/10.

Fire Emblem: Awakening.  Some of the best money I have ever spent.  Beat it twice and still going strong.  <3

Ok great! just got mine a bit ago from that best buy black friday in july sale. Got Fire EMBLEM, PROJECT X, then a bit later Castlevania and persona so i could get zelda, which i did. i have a ton of great gaming ahead
