It's mostly Dragon Quest IX for me (trying to alchemize myself an uber Miracle sword at the moment) with a side of Pokemon Heartgold

You can transfer every pokemon (except Spiky Ear Pichu) from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/HeartGold/SoulSilver to Black and White after obtaining the National Pokedex. Unlike transferring from 3rd gen pokemon to 4th gen, you will need 2 DSs.
@Topic: I've been playing Heart Gold since April and I won't stop until Black's release. :P

So I am guessing black and white wont have the all the pokemon in the previous game, and that previous game wont have all the pokemon in the game before that? Meaning if you want to have all the pokemon you would have to buy all the games. Hmmm no I am wondering if I should get an early start on getting back into pokemon, and use my gift card to buy one of them. Platinum maybe? Or maybe heartGold or something.

You can just trade the pokemon you're missing instead of buying every pokemon game. The legendaries and event pokemon that you missed will be hard to come by. It will help if you know anyone trustworthy you can trade with. (A close friend, etc.)
Most people will agree that HeartGold/SoulSilver are the best pokemon game yet (not counting B/W), but I personally prefer Platinum. Just don't buy D/P. Forget that D/P ever existed. Platinum is 10x better than D/P. :P
HG/SS might be your best choice for PokeDex completion in B/W. A lot of the unobtainable pokemon in B/W are available in HG/SS.
New super mario bros da
That is probably the best ds game ever.

I completely agree with you. I cannot count the number of times I started a new file and collected every star coin with all paths unlocked.
