For Wii I think a lot of those are excellent hopefuls. know some of these games aren't out but I could see the nominees being

Galaxy 2
Metroid Other M
Kirby
Red Steel 2
Donkey Kong

And It's going to be Galaxy that wins for sure.

Other M will be one of the nominees tho..

The best Wii game plus best game will be Super Mario Galaxy 2. For best in the catergory.

Super Mario Galaxy 2, no question.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 will be the Wii one, I don't think there's any question. Not sure if they will give it overall game of the year though as the first game already was '07 game of the year and this is just a sequel (albeit a superior sequel).

For me at least, Metroid: Other M most likely, we'll see how some upcoming games like DK and Kirby fare. Course, I also think it's the best game of this entire generation so far (PS3 and 360 included), and I know that not very many people (if any) will share that sentiment.

I think Galaxy 2, Monster Hunter 3 and Other M are locks to be nominated. Kirby and DK may end up filling up the other two spots, but Epic Mickey could do it if it turns out to be good.

i didnt think donkey kong was coming this year so if it is i would add that to my list

kirby's epic yarn.

SMG2 would have won if it came out later on in the year, but KEYwill make people forget about SMG2

So far for me Galaxy 2 is the winner. I'd give that game a straight up 10 out of 10. I believe Epic Mickey or Kirby's Epic Yarn will show up and be great too.
