I think it will cost between $300-$400. I also think that $320 would be a good price for it. Don't forget that the PS3 costs $250 right now.

Its been comfirmed that there are 2 versions. The basic 8GB storage one is $300 and the premium 32GB storage one is $350. The price I said that would be a good price for the Wii U was $320 and it was right in between the 2 versions. I also said it will cost between $300-$400 before the reveal.
It's not a bad price, but 8gb and 32gb is ridiculous. peace69That memory really means nothing but just a onboard starting point. Nintendo said they didn't want to include large harddrives with the wiiu like other gaming companys because they want to give the consumer the option to use their own. Its MUCH cheaper to just add your own SD or external harddrive than buy a nintendo branded one(like MS makes you) I like the idea myself. I can get a 1TB harddrive for like 60 bucks.

I would have to agree with this.
Though I am curious to see if the currency exchange rate actually has them selling less over here in the U.S.
The point is ms 320gb hard drive is 120 bucks. You can buy a 1tb drive for 69 bucks plus prices will go down.

As well as that 1tb will be faster (unless you buy a crappy one) than the ones MS uses for their 360s.
You can put a laptop hdd in a ps3, so that kinda is a separate arguement. You can get mass/fast storage for cheap there too.
The 360's proprietary hdd, is a different story.
