What will your HG/SS team be?

I'm not gonna use a starter because I already used them so much in the original Gold game. :P So I'm using these Pokemon because they're my favorites! :D

Pretty weird team...

Cyndaquil would be my starter, and I would be able to catch a Pidgey and a Zubat pretty soon. I could catch a Mareep soon after the first gym. Tentacool's can be found by fishing. Seel would have to wait a bit but would be a valuable ice type addition to the team.

Plus:
Some fire-type (Arcanine, Rapidash, Ninetales, Magmotar or Flareon, not sure yet. I used Rapidash in Pearl, but I may switch)
I'm also considering replacing my Lapras with Kingdra and replacing my Dragonite with Dragonair.

Anyone have advice on which fire-type (pure-fire, preferably) to choose? Also, do my swaps seem like good decisions?

JAB991: Well Arcanine is one of the best, unless you want to get a cyndaquil. The only stat that Rapidash is generally better in compared to Arcanine is speed. Flareon's highest stat is attack, and most fire-type attacks are special attacks. Ninetails is the same as Arcanine except it has higher special attack compared to Arcanine's attack. You can catch arcanine only in heart gold and ninetais in soul silver. You can catch a magmar in the safari zone in Cianwood.
