I would like to see Nintendo using the same style as Wind Waker/ Phantom hourglass, I really liked that style and I think it works very well for Zelda.

I've read somewhere that maybe Nintendo was planning to use a first-person view for the next Zelda, I really, REALLY hope they don't do that. Zelda is a third-person adventure, if they change that in a first person adventure then you would get something like oblivion... And I want ZELDA.

post your opinions.

I would like to see more like the Twilight Princess graphics but have more involved side quests. I think that game and Ocarina of time have the right idea. I would also like to see the return of the Triforce in a big way like having to collect them all or somethin like that

I really hope Nintendo doesn't use wind waker style for the next zelda. Not that i hate it (one of my favourite games) but im expecting something very new and that has not been done before. I want the same wtf?? expression i had on my face when i first saw wind waker and that wont happen if its in the same style. Wind waker was one of the pioneers in cel shading art style and im hoping the next zelda can do this do.

With that said i wouldnt mind seeing a water colour style in the next zelda. I just hope its something new.

i''d like the new pop game style, i think that'd work really well otherwise, the usual - bigger overworld, more sidequests, bigger towns, more populated towns, more swords, more epic boss fights

An actual challenge, i.e. bosses that I can't beat on my first try. Zelda has bored me to tears ever since the series went 3D. probably because the dumbed down the difficulty at that point.

The last Zelda game I died in was OoT, and I'm guessing that was because I was younger/the game's difficulty was slightly harder than the rest so far.

They have been pretty pathetic as of late.

I'd really like to see graphics like in the Twilight Princess game. The style used in Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass made the game seem a little juvinail to me. Twilight Princess made the game seem so much more mature.

I'd love to see a Zelda game with combat like Ninja Gaiden and puzzles more inventive than Viewtiful Joe. Too bad that'll never happen, ever since Nintendo CREATED their franchises they've refused to take any dynamic risks with them. (going 3D and making them incredibly easy doesn't count as a dynamic risk) Alas, they're a casual company for casual gamers. :(

The thing I like about PH is that you actually have to talk to people, or even if you don't...they sometimes have interesting/useful things to say. TP had no such thing.

I think I'm also ready for a sidekick free quest. It's a nice touch, but I'm ready for something fresh, and I like doing things on my own

I'd like there to be bigger dungeons. (TP was a total fail with this. Smaller dungeons as it goes on? WTF Plz.) And I liked how at the end of OoT you have to get all the sages together to open up the dungeon. More things to do after the actual story ends would be nice to... Collecting bugs was definitely sooo fun... Some hidden dungeons with incredibly punishing boss's? Pretty much make it harder and more detailed and larger.

No stupid Wind Waker graphics. They totally suck. (Perhaps a choice to choose? No that'd be too insane.)

Here here. And it should be an epic finale to the series or something. Nintendo needs to kill the old franchises and start new ones, and I don't mean things with Wii at the front of the title. Just don't kill Metroid until we get another in 2-D!

yeah PH was the easiest Zelda. I like Wind Waker, because the main story was fairly easy, but the side quests were very involved

I want to see the same realistic graphics as Twilight Princess, but it should just have its own artistic look that easily separates it from TP.

I would also like to see the return of the Fierce Deity character from Majora's Mask. While I'm not a big fan of that game, I loved playing as him. And they wouldn't have to bring back the whole mask dynamic, Link could just transform into him by picking up his sword or maybe some other mystical item that could be created solely for the next game, perhaps he would only be allowed to turn into him at select times, but eventually you get to choose when you want to change into him.

And speaking of transformations, if they give us another one in the next Zelda, I want them to make the transformation more fun to play. Playing as someone or something other than Link needs to be more interesting than the wolf from TP. I don't hate the wolf from TP, it's okay, but it just felt that more could have done with it.

And more sidequests would be nice, but only if they are more rewarding than just getting a bottle or a bigger wallet. Like in Ocarina of Time, you could complete a quest to obtain the Biggoron's Sword. Something like that would be interesting, more powerful weapons that aren't in any way necessary to complete the main quest but incredibly fun to obtain and use.

And finally, make the game more difficult. And if Nintendo still doesn't want that, then they could at least have a little sidequest where you could go to an arena where could battle others like you, something like Dark Link in Ocarina of Time except a more variety of opponents, and they require some decent effort to beat.

I'd love to see a very realistic Zelda game (though art wise it doesnt really bother me). I want to see bruises and cuts on Link's body and his clothes torn when he has low health. I want to see all sorts of weather all around Hyrule, maybe a few natural disasters sprinkled in as well (hurricanes and tornadoes etc). Enemies that are truly challenging, and bosses that need real strategy behind them. The land of Hyrule that has a lot of hills and mountains that enable you to see a breathtaking view of the kingdom. Numerous side-quests. Also, even though I know Nintendo will not include it, but I want to see blood. It would be much more satisfying to actually see enemies' bodies being sliced and diced with blood spilling everywhere. But most of all, I would like to see visuals that really pushes the Wii to its limits, and fully orchestrarted music.

I better lie down after typing that.

Twilight Princess had blood, it just wasn't a very big part of the combat. If you couldn't see it, just read the ESRB.

I think they should keep it in the style of TP, windwaker just wasnt that appealing as it was too childish. zelda games really seem better when link looks older, it just seems more realistic than sending a 10 yr old off to kill a bad guy and win the princess....

harder bosses maybe

though I usally get mad when I lose alot

as for puzzles, I don't think I ever got past them without an internet guide

but good graphics like twilight princess, some insane extra bosses, and maybe some mini games (fishing was very fun for me, and it didn't make me mad I think)

but I do hate wind waker and phantom hourglass graphics

there heads are to big

though I wish there was alot of stuff to do after beating the game

maybe like majoras mask where you could face any boss all over again (yet you could skip the dungen after winnig ounce instead of going through it again)

oh, and alot more stuff to collect (though I'll probaly end up using a guide)

You're preaching realism on a game like Legend of Zelda? There's nothing realistic about that game really.

i really want more much more epic boss fights, like the one in the water dungeon in TP, but harder kind of in the vain of shadow of the collossuss but not that much of a puzzle (as in still fairly standard to beat (but harder) but huge bosses that link climbs and finds the weak spot and then gets thrown off and has to find it again with really epic music in the background)

I know I wouldn't want to see wolf link again. I enjoyed it during twilight princess but it was written into the story so that only that link could turn into a wolf and it'd make the story line awful trying to write wolf link in again

You always play as Link, wouldn't it be cool if Link would get caught by Ganondorf and you had to play as Zelda? She really kicked ass with her bow in the twilight princess. It would be fun for a change, wouldn't it? I mean there are also games you play as princess peach and not Mario, so why not with the legend of Zelda?

I wouldn't really mind if Zelda went first person. It would make sense if they used WiiMotion+, but I guess it would work for third person too. I really want some kind of banking system. Being able to carry only a certain amount of rupees pisses me off. Also we need more things to spend our rupees on.

There was a banking system in Majora's Mask where you NEEDED to put all your rupees in the bank before you went back in time or you'd lose all your rupees. It was actually quite convenient and got rid of persuasive thought's of blowing all your rupees on 99 bombs or something like that.

I agree. Also, the prospect of gaining more rupees when you're already maxed out on them doesn't motivate me to explore. Zelda needs better rewards for wandering off the beaten path.

True, especially in twilight princess, once I completed the main quest there wasn't anything left to do... It would be great if you could find a lot of side-quest (like in fallout for example).

NO! I repeat! NO FIRST PERSON VIEW FOR ZELDA!

I would rather see it during a steam punk era, with the graphics cel shaded but not cartoon like Wind Waker, I'm talking Cel Shaded in the vain of No More Heroes; more mature but not extra cartoony like Windaker. Well actually better than No More Heroes in terms of quality.

Wii Motion plus control

Ganondorf as a sub villian, basically a puppet to a new greater evil thats actually your new enemy.

A more powerful sword than the Master Sword.

Not in Hyrule like Majoras was.

No wolf gimmicks please... Can I just have Link as Link straight up no corner cutting. The wolf parts in TP were ok; but I found my self trying to rush through them to play as human(or what ever Link is) Link. No transformations at all.

Quest DLC, or use the WiiConnect24 in some way.

Cross Bow not Bow and arrow.

Be able to use the DS for maps of some kind of Innovative stuff.

What was so Childish about Wind Waker? i mean, pass the cel shaded graphics, where was it childish? And whats so wrong with something being childish anyway? People act as if something is childish thats it's unbearable but they can go see some stupid pixar movie. WW was in no way childish pass the graphics, and it had a story of any other Zelda. Learn the difference between stylized graphics and childish. Childish= Elmo, Dora, and Barney games. Any of Nintendo Major Franchises /=/ Childish.

zelda with a combination with fable 2's engine or gameplay. now, that game impressed me a lot when i played it so i am expecting the next zelda game to overcome fable 2.
