i give it a5 because i think the wii is off to a rocky start, like for example: there isn't any really good online games yet, and its been like 8 months. And also they haven't released any new channels, and they promised they would have more, and the internet channel hasn't even been finished yet.....all we have is a trial version
hiya i gave 9/10 asi think its a good family friendly console not too hard for granny to join in as well. for a more tougher gaming experience, i think the other consoles like xbox etc are for the more adventurous players.
but im sure once the grip of the wii has taken then they will introduce more gaming, at leasti hope soas i love the wii a lot.
5/10, the game library for the most part is a joke. Things will improve later this year when the big three hit, but beyond those games, I don't see much to look forward to.
Right now its on a 5 or 6, but once Ive got my hands on MP3 and Galaxy and some other games for gamers not grannies I will be a happy guy. RE:UC looks awesome too. By christmas it will be on a 9.
I give it an 8. This is more of a "potential" rating because I only have afew wii games. However, the fact that it plays GC games and plays them well is helping me catch up on the great GC titles gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Also, I know I'm gonna love MP3, SMG, and MKWii. With it's success, I'm sure there will be some great 3rd party games.

I think the Wii has a lot of potential, and some devs are taking advantage of the wiimote, while others aren't. We'll have a much better selection later this year.
i give it a 7.5/10 - it's been fun so far, but i wanted ATLEAST one of the big three in Q1/Q2 -- and it didnt happen. Plus not to mention theirs only about 3-5 good third party games, the rest is just crap.
I'd give it a 7, cause there are games on it that I really like, I just want.... more that's all. However, by the beginning of next year I'm sure I'll be very pleased with it.
Too many lazy wii-ports where the graphics could be so much more as well as devs tacking on crappy controls. I only have Zelda, COD3, Godfather, Wii Sports and Rayman (which I will be selling because I don't like it). I've barely touched it and the system has only launched 2 games that interested me since launch. But that's my opinion...
That being said, the 360 had a crappy first year, ditto PS3. I think once Matroid hits, then SSB then Galaxy, hopefully they'll carry some momentum into the holiday and for next year.
