It would be a fantastic idea, and don't be surprised if Miyamoto has beat you to the idea.
It would likely be the best Mario Party game in a while. But Hudson is now just a WiiWare kinda company and lack the cash to make the game

I don't know if it would be cheaper or not, but how about a remake of the original boards and games, with maybe a few ones taken out and replaced with new ones. I miss that game.
I don't know, I feel like the Mario Party games are better suited to consoles. They don't really suit a handheld unless they add a wi-fi feature (I don't mean the DS download play - something like the Mario Kart WFC). So I wouldn't be too keen, I mean the one that's already out isn't that great anyway *shrug*.

Not cheap enough for Hudson, they can't even get them on the VC
It's easier to just to call it Mario Party 3d, as in Star Fox 64 3d, another thing, there'd been some Mario Party games for the arcade that were made by Capcom.
If they released that as a free game for 3DS owners, I'd be all over it. Otherwise, I would never buy a Mario Party or Mii Party game.i'd rather have Mii party 3DS..

I support the Idea 100%. However its simply not possible. The Mario Party games where designed by Nintendo and a 3rd Party. That 3rd Party split up after Mario Party 8 hence why we havent seen a new one since. Nintendo doesnt have the full license over that series of games. Nintendo tried to make do with what they could and made the Wii Party game but lets face it not even close to being as great as Mario Party was.
