It's not like the "Big 3" is going to be a regular thing, three of Nintendo's biggest franchises happened to be coming out within 4 months of each other, which changed when Brawl was postponed till February. We've still got Brawl, then Mario Kart, Animal Crossing, Legend of Zelda, possibly a new Pikmin, and hopefully a bunch of new and innovative Nintendo franchises coming out in the next few years.
I doubt we'll be seeing anything like the Big 3 again. Technically, it still hasn't happened.

well said... and also there's disaster day of crisis and no more hero's. so don't rap your finger only on the franchise they say were to be big but alsolook at others.
I cant wait for animal crossing, the original was just very entertaining for me, my friends looked at me like are you 10 years old? but I was having fun, rumor has it the next one will be an MMO, think I read that in EGM maybe, I dont remember where =/

No I did indeed read it somewhere, I will look through back issues of EGM when I get home from work and see if i can find it.
The thought of a big ass animal crossing village where more then 4 people could live sounds so awesome, just imagine the original but on a much much grander scale, the thought is exciting to me =)

But more interesting would be the reborn of Punch Out and Kid Icarus franchises that can take wide advantage from the Wiimote... Who knows other crazy Nintendo project´s?
