Sorry for the nooishness..But I keep hearing that the DSi is great because of the "SD Slot".I do not know what that is in the slightest.Please explain to me what it is.Thanks in advance :).

An SD slot is where you would insert an SD card. An SD card is becoming a sort of universal removable storage that is used in devices like cameras. The Wii has an SD slot on the front so that you can view pictures and save your data. You have probably seen an SD card without even knowing it. This is an SD card:

So cartoonkid35, do these sd cards have differing memory? And if so, can you use different cards with different memory on the dsi?

There are many different sizes right now and they will keep on getting bigger. You can get 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, etc.... There are also SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards which even have 32GB cards available now. There could be higher sizes now but I don't know about them. And I don't believe that the maximum size for SD cards has been released for the DSi but I have heard 2GB. I cannot confirm this though and only heard it here in the forums.
