I hope they do well. 2 people running a company the entire world is counting on must be hard. I think they should keep doing original, even if kind of weird, titles like World of Goo. They have this kind of essence to them that makes them feel much more fresh then the newest Halo or Splinter Cell game. I wonder if Wiiware will be their main moneymaker.

ssing that theyre going to make a sequal to WoG because at the end, it showed another planet full of goo blobs.

im hoping for an inter-planetary game

Sword-Demon
But the sign painter just said the goo's are all gone. The goo's were probably just on the planet to show that they all survived. What could 2D boy build upon off World of Goo anyway??? All they could really do is change the shape of the levels and enhance the physics, maybe add a special new goo or two.

I was wondering the same thing earlier today.

As much as I would love another World of Goo, I have to admit that I'd be much more excited for a new, more creative idea from 2D Boy.

Either way, it's win-win.

Now that Retro's gone, maybe they can go on to make Metroid 5, the next 2-D Metroid! Hehe, just kidding, but I do wonder if the seres is going into another hiatus like it did after Super Metroid.

Nothing, they are retiring.

WoG was their one-hit wonder.

One of the later levels in goo has you hovering around a planet and being sucked in by gravity. Im guessing a mario galaxy like theme for world of goo 2.

It was a joke xD

Calm yourself, they'll most likely have a new game out in a couple of years.

It wouldn't surprise me if the 6th level (I believe it's the moon) that will be on the retail copy Europe gets will be DLC for the WiiWare version. Beyond that, I'd love to see WoG2.
