i've been watching Rune Factory:A Harvest Moon Fantasy ever since they first started talking about it, not game spot but nintedo power way back in june. But why is it taking them so long to make a dang review for this game! it came out like nine days ago but they must have writers block or something. i was going to buy it, but what if it is crap, thats 30$ down the drain all because gamespot is too slow to put out reviews.

IGN reviewed it, and they say it's a good game. If you enjoyed past Harvest Moons, you can't be wrong getting this one...

yeah i want on IGN and they have a full review and a GREAT gameplay video. it really has convinced me to get it. it shows combat and farming and interaction with the monsters on the farm and even when he captures a cow looking thing. thats going to be one of the best parts, collevting these monsters and befriending them. it looks like a such a deep game that you can play it for ever. this seems like the biggest open ended game on the ds. the guy said it took him a good hour just to meet all the people in town. plus theres leveling up and fighting and magic. im so excited now, thats for showing me IGN im going to look at there reviews as well as gamespot. all i have to do now is get a hold of 30$ thats the hard part.

lol i just bought it today this afternoon. I can safely say that the 30$ i spent on this game was the best 30$ ive ever spent, im going to get dangerously addicted to it and turn into a World of Warcrack addict like person. Sitting in my room hours on end playing this game, it is seriously that fun.

Wow.

You are a SHALLOW GAMER.

Reviews should give you an IDEA of what the game would be like, but you make your choice solely on their point system...

There's nothing wrong in looking for GOOD reviews to avoid wasting money on a crappy game. Who are you to say it's not wise to base a purchase by what a few reviews say? I sure as hell don't want to waste my time on a game that gets a 6.0 or that sort. I have NEVER enjoyed a game that got a score that low, ever, I give some games the chance, but they always fall short, and the reviews always give me the correct indications. Reviews bring out facts and judge the quality of a game, not the bias it holds. People who enjoy the mediocre by press titles are part of a niche group, it's a game that not a majority can enjoy. Only your personal preference can weigh out the bad in these games.

I'm not saying Rune Factory averaged a 6.0, I'm just getting a point across.
