What's the WEIGHT LIMIT on Wii Fit Balance Board?
I asked because I'm fat and I don't really want to buy this thing and break it in pieces the first time I step on it.
Leave me some comment or ridicule me for being fat...I don't really care...

I'm cracking up just thinking about that youtube comment
Well, the only way we'll know is if someone tests it by either putting people on it and testing it that way, or putting weights on it until it breaks. Either way, I'm sure it'll be on YouTube one of these days.remmbermytitans

well atleast you're honest. if you're trying to lose weight then i suggest you do some jogging or something and not rely so much on wii fit.
If you're fat I wouldn't use Wii Fit in the first place. Go run or something, that'll burn more calories than any other exercise, swimming being the acception.TacticalElefant.... he wants to game :|

Because the game is Wii Fit...the advertisement says, "How Fit Are You?"....That might create the thoughts he is having....

So I should get up early in the freezing cold every morning and run a couple miles or go swim in my non-existent swimming pool?
Sorry, but I'd much rather be in the warmth of my home having fun with other people playing Wii Fit, which has been proven by many people to be much more than just a little workout. I'm sorry, but if you can lose weight playing Wii Sports, you'll likely be able to lose weight playng Wii Fit.
I'm not looking to lose weight with Wii Fit, but it'll definitely get me more active and have fun doing it.
I'd also heard 300lbs for the weight limit, but I don't remember if that was the Japanese board limit or the U.S. board. I don't have a reference handy, but my understanding is that the long delay on the U.S. release is that we're getting a, ahem, "sturdier" balance board than what was released in Japan.
Suggesting "fat people" go jogging can actually be rather inappropriate. Jogging is hard on the joints and shins, and if you're carrying too much weight you can mess up your knees, ankles, feet, shins, etc. and set yourself back even further.
I'm 5'8" 175lbs, down from 240lbs a couple of years ago but still have another 20 to go. I've got Wii Fit pre-ordered, but my mindset is that it will just be a supplement to a more comprehensive exercise program. I'm looking forward to it, looks like it will be fun. And honestly, if Wii Fit just gets an overweight person moving in the right direction towards a more healthy lifestyle, then it's a good deal.

Don't worry buddy, I'm fat too, wanna go eat chocolate in a corner and cry?
come on buddy, lets go..ROFL LMAOI feel sad for all the sumo wrestlers who cant play Wii Fit...
Also Wii Fit is not a weight lost program. Its a video game that helps you stay fit by playing it. I wish more games were like this. With all the hours I spent playing video games... I would probably have 6-pick abs :(

yeah i guess being a pro in Wii sport suggest otherwise right? or the fact that Guitar hero is actually called guitar hero but with Wii fit it's a completely different story right? :|

yeah...that's true.. r u in medical field too? yeah.. me too, except ppl dont want to follow my health advice b/c i'm a fat health care professional. anyway, i guess the best exercise for me and the rest of the fatty is swimming and walking/joggin on grass/sand (b/c of less pressure on the joint)

Dont be like that. Wii Fit can actually HELP you unlike GH or Wii Sports. And stop using :| in every damn post. Its CRAZY!!!!! So yes, Wii Fit is a completely different story. You can have fun and lose a little weight. But it doesnt work that way with Wii Sports or Guitar Hero.

Completely different. The proto type for Wii Fit was called Health Pack. They are trying to help people get fit. Guitar Hero and Wii Fit are not. I'm with JFK on this one. A fat guy(no offense) is interested in Wii Fit. Sure, he is a gamer...but he is overweight. There are two sides here....

Swimming>Running. It works more things more efficiently while putting little strain on joints.

if you do the proper stretching beforehand as well as do combinations of jogging and speed walking, then you'll be fine. a a really fat person should more than likely worry about changing their eating habits first anyway. also it would be in their best interest to invest in one of those ski/treadmill machines where you move your arms and legs rather than wii fit. hell, or even join a gym. can't afford any of those then back to what i said earlier jog/walk around the block.
