whats this sound mean in godfather?

Ive been playing godfather blackhand for a while and sometimes it plays a sound like a cash register, chaching, or money sound. What is it signifying?

it makes that sound when you pick up money......y'know....the glowing green stuff......don't pick it up though cause that green glow is there because of nasty radiation and if you pick up enough your character will die....stickontheradar

it's when you get money. I've also noticed it when it's payday and also similar sounds when you find items.
