Whats with the upcoming update?

Hello all,

I just realized that the upcoming system update is BS! I know some guys out there might hate me for this and might say "I like it" but I have been waiting since March for this update to include video playback ability. When Nintendo released the first update that was in March, the first time you play the "awkward" OK music video on your 3DS, it says this is just a sample 3D video of what we will work on for the next system update! I thought we will be getting the 3D video playback app with this update and I was so excited for it.

Was that just for advertising the 3DS to sell well????? (not to forget how MGS graphics were advertised so much higher than what are we seeing today :()

They were probably talking about this:

Q:Will we be able to download full retail games? What about demos?

A:No, at least not yet. Still, it's worth mentioning that the eShop features a retail channel where you can check out 3D screenshots and videos of upcoming games. This section is also where you can give games ratings as long as you've played the gamefor at least an hour.

Apparently there will be videos for upcoming games, hopefully that's from the start.

Unfortunately, this doesn't mean it's compatible with all 3D display technology on the Web. It won't work with YouTube's 3D movies, for example. (ugh)

Q:What about Netflix?

A:Netflix is still coming as a separate download later this summer.
