Noy enough games with replay value. Things like Zack and Wiki, whilst great games, are nowhere near as much fun the second play through when you know how to do all the puzzles. Even Mario Galaxy, once it's completed once it's nowhere near as magical as the first playthrough.
Also I'd quite like this new P2P online to just be one set fee and make the online more like the other consoles, no friend codes, but when buying a headset for games you have to have ID and prove you're over about 15 so there aren't annoying 12 year olds screaming at you all the time. (I know this wouldn't fully stop it but it'd help)

This.
Me and my friends frequently play 4 player matches of Wii Sports or Mario Strikers (and once Mario Party...ugh) and it takes us ages to connect our controllers in the right order. Bloody annoying.

Yes and I'm sure your taste is just terrific and wouldn't make anyone question a single title you like.
That being said the reason you see those games is because people are buying and enjoying those games.
Maybe your problem is more of your need to look for games rather then just think that what you see on the shelf of one store is all they have?

Being on a video game message board, I'm going to assume most people here are here because they've been gamers for a while and don't play those kinds of garbage games. All of the scores you posted mean jack to the people here as well. How about instead of going to Amazon you use a place that applies to everyone here.Carnival Games Overall-59%

There is no way that any of those games are must haves. Most of them are just quick cash ins because developers are too lazy to make games gamers want to play. No one here freaking cares if some person out there is enjoyinggames like those especially if there's a ton of those games coming out and only a handful of games gamers want to play every year.

That's awfully curtious of you, Jaysonguy.
Also, I don't know how many of these complaints would qualify as a "nitpick" but it's all good.

If I am gonna spend my money on any video game it better be a quality game. I don't mess with low budget cheap games. Just because a game is selling doesn't mean it is a quality game. A lot of parents probably bought their little girls Hannah montana because they love the show. Just because it is being bought a lot doesn't mean anything.

I totally agree with Jaysonguy, everybody has there taste in games, just because you don't like a game does not mean it's not good. IGN for example gave Hot Wheels Beat That! a 3.3 (bad). I rented the game, even before I saw that review cause I really wanted to play another racing game, and I honestly think the game is fine. I think it could have easily been given a 6.0 (mediocore). The game is really geared towards little kids, but it is still fun even for a more "hardcore" gamer (and I've been playing video games since NES). So just because you don't think a game is "quality" which can be subjective in some points, doesn't mean another person thinks the game isn't quality.
Anyway, back to the topic. I really don't have any problems with the Wii. If anything it would be that you can't turn of the Wii with the Wii Remote in GC mode, but it's no big deal.
Also, to the people that have trouble connecting more controllers, press the home button, than go to Wii Remote connection screen (can't remember what it is called off the top of my head. Next click reconnect Wii Remotes and then in the order you want (important, that's why it's bolded) press the 1 & 2 buttons on the Wii Remotes simultaneously. Do this one at a time (hopefully that is obvious) and wait until the controller gets connected before doing the next Remote. Also, Wii Sports has this in the interface, but you can still do it how I described, which would be used for other multiplayer games.

I have a couple little stupid ones.
1) It bothers me that you can't see how many minutes/hours you have been playing with Gamecube games.
2) You can't quit a Gamecube game without turning off the system, and you can't turn off the system with the Wiimote.

I don't buy them ,TRUE, i just don't like picking up a game with shovelware surrounding it. They are shovelware, in MY OPINION.I really, really wish they would put some effective manner of communicating with other people when playing online. Right now it mostly just feels like you're playing against a more unpredictable CPU. You could make it so that you could turn off that capability through Parental Controls to protect your kids and everything. C'mon, Nintendo. :(
- The use of three languages (English, French, and Spanish) in the Wii instruction manual. I speak only English and find the other two language versions a waste of ink and paper. The same goes with the instruction manuals of many Wii games.

I don't know... maybe, JUST mabye... there's people in the world who don't speak english and buy Wii games?
