Dragon Sword is another great game but people are always cheating for the Karma scores on wifi and the game is too short.
"Race Driver: Create & Race" for it's amazing replay value even after you've won all the races, opened the twenty-THOUSAND-gazillion unlockables, played the seamless online until your fingers bleed and your eyes fall out, designed your car from the ground up, designed a few killer tracks, tried to knock me off the leader boards for Time Trials... Greatest. DS. Racing. EVER. Stuff "MarioKart".
"WarHammer40K: Squad Command" - In the dark future, there is only war... and man is it GREAT. Turn-based strategy with a more adult tone, based on the table-top strategy game... they give you six members (sometimes all guradsman, sometimes a few space marines and a vehicle like a Dreadnaught, which is a big nasty robot with razor claws and big guns) and as you go through the levels more weapons oiptions are available at load-out, so your attack force can be customized nicely, and about 90% destructable environments which can change the balance of a fight and freedom of approach considerably... varying objectives like clearing a map of bad guys, rescuing a crash site and defending the survivors, and all of it with intuitive button mapping and really decent graphics, no matter what the "professional" reviewers have said... cool little cut scenes convey the tone of the original material nicely... the difficulty is just about right, and if you're a decent strategist you should be able to get through a level with only a few tries. It got slagged by every website and every magazine, but I'm telling you it's just as viable a game as the Advance Wars series. Oh, and there's online too!
Either of these games will last you a long, long time.
