For me, there really is no comparison. The question should be, why is Paper Mario 64 the best Mario game ever?

Its a tough choice but Paper Mario 1 on N64 would have 2 be the best but i dont know about Super Paper Mario coz im an Aussie and its not out yet

I havent gotten  around to playing Super Paper Mario yet, although the first one is my favorite.  It was my favorite N64 game and is in my top 10 games of all time.  It was so original and new to me that i couldnt stop playing it.  It was hard for me to choose but i chose the first over the 2nd because of how original the concept seemed to me the first time around.

The Thousand Year Door. The adventure was great, the writing was great (and hilarious!), and the story kept you coming back to play it again and again.
