What's your favorite Planet from MP3? (with poll)

So which planet or area was you the best in the game? Personally I absolutely loved Bryyo. The organic nature of the environment was just awesome. It was very similar to the look and feel of the first two Primes. It also in my opinion had the best overal look and design. The best use of graphics for sure. I also did enjoy the Pirate homeworld even though you spend a lot of time there and have to do a lot of searching and backtracking.

Elysia was amazing too. I liked the design a lot. I do wish that there was a little more variety within Sytown itself but it was still amazing. The music was just awe-inspiring.

I loved Elysia. SkyTown rocks! And the crazy robots doing their own stuff was great.dieworm

Dude you're right I totally forgot to mention that too. All of the little repair bots and drones taking care of business really helped sell the living world of it all. Plus I also loved looking down into the distance on the planet's surface and seeing the seed. If you could find a place to look at it from the eastern part of the city you could see it waaaaaay in the distance. Did you see that? It was so rad.

My favorite too. I enjoy the more organic planets more. I wished there was at least one more planet similar to Bryyo.

Yeah Valhalla was cool. The "ghost ship" atmosphere was pretty neat and the airlock feel when you opened doors that were deeper in the hull were pretty rad. Olympis was also cool because lot of the coolest story elements, training, mission breefing, Pirate attack, all happened there. It had a bright metallic look to it that I really dug. All in all it al rocked!

Now bring on Metroid Prime 4! :D

Oh yeah I totally know that. I just like to dream while I'm awake as well :D Just having some fun. But thabks anyway man.

Lots of people are saying Elysia, but I got lost and confused there more than anywhere else. Trying to plan my route through zigzagging ziplines and platforms I would end up in the wrong place or on the wrong level of an elevator... and a lot of the time the map wasn't too helpful 'cos I couldn't get a clear view of the room I was in and where the door I wanted was...

Feel free to point and laugh at the old man who gets lost in a 3D video game, even with a full map! My wife does...

However... I thoroughly enjoyed bowling with the steambots, and all the spider ball tracks.

You now I also wish that the ice area from Bryyo was a bit larger. I mean everyone loved the Phendrana Drifts and that could have been replicated and then improved on in this game.

Dude tell me when you first got to Ice on Bryyo that you weren't like 'Oh ehll yeah snow level!!" And then you were right back out and it was like.....awwwwwwww. :(

I totally agree. Probably the best in the game. However late in the game the Pirate Homeworld did have some great revelations such as their encounter with Dark Samus, the attack on G.F.S. Valhalla, and referances to the events on Tallon IV and Aether. Not to mention the "Metroid Dread" revelation.

I liked Norion best, it really got me into the game with the full scale battle with the Pirates and the Federation, with a little help from the other Hunters. The battle with Meta Ridley was also quite epic.

Ice Bryyo and Phaze. how come Phaze isn't in that poll?Jayesler12

I hear all the people asing for Phaaze.

I really did want to include Phaaze but I only had five options and the four main planets had to be included.I figured the fifth one just had to go to Valhalla before Phaaze unfortunately. I tried to help it by adding the Olympis as well. In the end Phaaze didn't have the overall impact and significance to the game ( yes even though the battle with Aurora Unit 313 took place there) so there had to be one casualty. Sorry about that :)
