While I enjoy and admire the Mario series of games, I feel he's been a little over used in some of Nintendo's releases, so I'm going to nominate Animal Crossing as my favourite series. I love the open ended gameplay, the thousands of collectable items, and the surprises that it brings from day to day. It's a great game to relax with. I have high hopes for the forthcoming Wii title. Let's hope they really can bring the series forward.
