When a new pokemon game comes out...

will it have like all the new wifi features and new content likePokemon Platinum orwill it go back to being a game like Pokemon diamond/pearl is?

pokemon game as in being a trainer and catching pokemon, not that poke rangers one.

If a new game was released, the formula should at least be changed a little, and 2.5d is not the same thing as 3d.

People are saying Pokemon Jade and Onyx... I just wan't 3-d sprites, and it is totally possible. If they do the same engine, same style, same graphics ect... it is starting to get redundant. Yet, even still, they games have been so good and the new pokes are always a reason to buy. Also, now that there is wi fi there should berandom and friend battles, as well as pairing up with a friend to do a mult battle against another random pair of friends.kardine

Most likely it will have the WiFi features, but I'm guessing two version will come at first, and then later on another version will be released with expanded content, just like Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, and the ones before it.

Well we don't know. What we do know is that Nintendo are capable of doing it and if they tried i think it could work out. But then again it would make the fighting slower, and people want it faster. There's no pleasing some people!! :PThe-Legand

Well, using quick animations for battles could work, just like dragon quest monsters. The game is 3d, graphics are nice and battle animations are quick enough to not make you fall asleep.

And yeah, as mentioned above, there is a pokemon jade, but it is not official. It is a bootleg version of a japanese game called keitai denjuu telefang - speed version that never made into America. It was made by some chinese pirate that only knew how to talk in "ENGRISH". For some reason, it named the game and sold it as being pokemon, possibly to attract unaware buyers.

Also the infamous Pokemon Diamond for Gameboy color is also the counterpart of this pirated pokemon jade. That one was called keitai denjuu telefang - power version, it was a fun game, but people often discard those games quickly because of the poor translation or because some ignorant people really think its a bad pokemon spin-off (which it isn't) and actually never gave a chance to the game.

Anyway, pay no mind to me, i'm just an old senile babbling some nonsense.

pokemon jade is a fake game, it has other characters(i think) and some random pokemon that somebody just made up but they are horrible and the game is too.
