I got mine Mid night when it came out second person in line. I waited with my friend and his dad we got there the wii came out mid night sunday (of course it was the same week that i got my thanksgiving break) so we got there at 4:00 Friday and he was first and i was was second in line. Surparsingly no one else showed up and we had the waiting space to are selfs so we got a tent, some foot warmers, a football, and some food from the inside mcdonald's (which i had a good plan for i kept the same drink so when ever i needed a refill i'd just go in and refill it). Then the next morning people finnaly started showing up and surparsingly the last of the people that got the wii didn't show up until around 3:00PM (just 9 hours before the wii came out) then my friends sister had shown up at about 8:00 that morning (before any one else had shown up execpt me my friend and my friends dad) So we said she was in college visiting for the holidays so he got an extra wii which he sold for $500. Any way i just thought it was awsome being one of the first people in texas 500 probably people in texas to get the wii. What's your story
i got mine right after news year 2007 it was me and two of my cousins. It was awesome everyone standing in line to get one had a ds and we were all playing games. Also after each person got their wii they walk down the line where everyone else was waiting and people would start screaming and clapping for every person who got one lol. It was an aweome 5 hours.
I managed to order mine off of Amazon on May 13th of last year. It was around 12:30 I think, and I was lucky since the batch they got in was all gone within twenty or thirty minutes.
i was waiting at my local toys r us i was like the 14 in line and they only receive 13 but my mom carry enough money and went to the nearest best buy and she was the first one and still toys r us didnt open so i left pretty happy and all the people in line were so mad at me haha
Really? I got mine in Texas too. I was one of the last in line, but then whenever we got inside, and the first 15(Some number close) were promised a Wii, I skipped ahead in line, so technically, I was first to buy a wii. Along with Twilight Princess. Payed for it all in cash. IN full.

lol no I didn't. I Didn't have enough money. I got Brawl in the beginning of April ( I get paid at the start of the month). But that would've made that day even better.
