When does the new Wii Internet Browser come out?

Wasn't it supposed to come out sometime in December in NA? I haven't heard any news about this.

Looks cool but I'm not paying for an internet browser. I don't even use the one that's on the system that much anyway.PlasmaBeam44

The Internet Channel was free for a few months after it launched last year, June was when that channel was no longer free. So now anyone who didn't download the channel while it was free has to pay 500 Wii Points (I think that's how much it is) in order to download it.

Yeah I got my browser for free but the article says this new update will cost 500 points.

Browser updates are free, even if you downloaded it for free. The system doesn't seem to make a distinction.
