yeah it was but after I beat it with mario and luigi there was nothing else There couldve been Downloadable planets or missions and same with MP3 and COD WaWjohnnygggGames end. That is a simple fact. DLC won't change that. As stated, the Wii already has DLC in game like Mega Man 9 and Guitar Hero: World Tour. I havn't used it at all, but it is an option for anyone with those games.
Nintendo promised so much and delivered nothing (the Revolution was originally supposed to match the other 2 consoles in power, then they changed it to the Wii and said they would include a real hard drive and offer free DLC for 1st party games).
We got a underpowered console, with mediocre motion controls (Motion Plus could have been put in at launch), stuck with SD cards which until recently could not have played games from), almost no DLC (let alone free 1st party) and dreadful online. Good luck to you if you think you will get much DLC.
[QUOTE="johnnyggg"]yeah but what about other major realeses like SMGor MP3SMR-VenomWhy would you want DLC for Mario? It is a great experience as it is. my thoughts exactly
I could see them adressing that issue MAYBE in the future. It would probably work like the the way you launch Virtual Console games I would see it as. One of the recently released Conduit videos I believe its that Eric guy talking from HVS says he they have no plans for DLC but did sound like it was possible if there was a sequel so never say never.
you people may not like it but it is nededjohnnygggI don't see how its "needed". The biggest games where DLC is important are RB/GH, other than that I don't see a real issue. The Wii has that now, everything else out there is just overpriced map packs. I also don't see the big draw for 1st party DLC, more often than not I'd rather them move onto a new game that fiddle around with new content for a released game. Actually, I bet more people would complain if they did, because the longer they spend on new content for DLC, then thats more time between other 1st party releases, which is apparently the only thing worth buying for a whole slew of ignorant people. The last thing I want is more complaining.
Some DLC is great like songs in Guitar Hero or Rock Band or mutliplayer map packs. Other DLC sucks like having to buy the ending to Tomb Raider and Prince of Persia, the versus mode to RE5, and buying an unlocking code for cars, clothes, or weapons already on a disc. Wii of course already has some DLC although due to the way the systems is set up it will never get DLC like the other consoles. Games can't be patched and most things can't be loaded directly of the SD card but have to be temporarily copied to the Wii's internal memory (like wiiware/virtual console games or songs in RB/GH) which limits the size of the DLC not to mention the loading speed factor. It kinda sucks but its not that huge of a deal.
