When ps2 dies what will that mean for wii's third party support?

Wii gets plenty of ps2 ports for third partys. When the ps2 dies will be good for nintendo since third party's can not give us ps2 ports and will have to make games for the wii. Or will third party's just forget the wii

ports will most likely be gone. it will hopefully force devs to create from the ground up.

the wii is cheaper to make for and has a larger install base, and when ps2 dies many people would own wii's by then so theyll just continue making their games, both bad and good, except maybe theyll be made with better controls or graphics. if they made the game for the ps2 its probably cause they wanted it to be low budget, they wouldnt just suddenly dishout millions of dollars out of no where to make high budget games on the other consoles.bionicle_lover

Dude, the person was just asking a question. They were not making a negative thread nor did they say anywhere that this was based on fact. Just because "every single fact out there right now" points to something does not mean that that is going to keep happen. This is real life and anything can happen.

oh and to the TC... just because if the PS2 were to die it doesnt mean PS2 ports would die out... look at Bully and Okami... they were both ported to the wii well after they came out on the PS2... the same could still happen after the PS2 is dead.
