When will wii ever get an amazing online shooter ?

MoH Heroes 2 and World at War work slick and fast in wii online MP. But if you feel like you're missing out on something significant with BF1943, maybe you have the wrong console.

You could also play them on the PC. Get Half-Life and Day of Defeat + Natural Selection. Natural Selection in particular exhibits a greatness unmatched by any team-based FPS I have ever played. BF1942 should run on your PC as well, unless it is quite old.

but if you want something that half way there

try the conduit (atlast IGN thinks its good) and it probably has the best controles of any console shooter to date

I don't really want one.

The Conduit is good enough, in my opinion.

We only have 3 decent FPS games that are considered decent.

they all have their strengths, and weaknesses compared to one another, but they are fun if you enjoy the genre.

If you're expecting anything close to the equivlant of what the ohter consoles can do, you might as well go buy that console. Wii has the ability to produce a decent online service, but it's just not going to compare.

I just can't believe there aren't more FPS, and we haven't had one 3rd person shooter on the system unless you count RE4.

that's not it at all.

there are quality titles (that I mentioned above) when it comes to Wii's capabilites.

The problem is, companies aren't giving us any. They aren't compareable to the other consoles, no, but that doesn't mean they're not good games.

no if you want a true shooter u get powerful PC

do away with friends code or at least let you add strangers right then and there and i might care about playing my wii games online a little more

I think The Conduit and MOH Heroes 2 are up there with the likes of Reistance 2, Halo 3, and Call of Duty 4. I have fun playing all those games.

I think we have enough good ones for now.

Call of Duty and The Conduit. I'm not really a fan of the Conduit but I play WaW everyday. Never gets old to me.

But i'm sure they will release something good in the future.

Errrrr... I can't really suggest the game anymore with it's various glitches and bad hit detection.

Im keeping my eye open for The Grinder supposed to expand on The Conduits online multiplayer which is top notch for the wii anyways.

I'm crossing my fingers. I hope The Grinder turns out better than The Conduit. Don't get me wrong I like The Conduit but I think the online needs to be changed. Too many glitches, and much too long of a wait to get into a game, also the fact that you can't party up with friends before entering a public game makes meeting up with a few friends difficult. Hopefully The Grinder can fix any issues and turn a good game into a great game. Like I said I'll keep my fingers crossed.
