WALMART!!! im so glad its not a 'tech' store where everyone goes... i walked in walmart and four wiis were just sitting there and people were just walking by it....i even called my bud who wanted one...he actually came to the store while i was still there and paid in cash...i was lol'ing cuz it looked like he hadnt showered look in low profile places like walmart and target...probably your best chance for a wii

Futureshop, My Grandma drove there at 4 in the morning and waited in her van until the people started to line up a week after launch i think. Also I didn't ask her to she did it because she found out my trip at launch was unsuccessful.
My parents pre-ordered mine from Currys. They were suposed to pick it up on release date and put it away until christmas but the Currys my parents pre-orderded only got 2 wiis on release date so I didn't get my Wii until Januray 15th.
Launch day at Walmart. 14th in line and 18 hours later...ahhhh! LOL I was there for the pre-order at a Gamestop and was the first person cut-off. Glad I didn't get it from them anyways. I rarely give them my business these days, unless it's absolutely unavoidable.
I got mine off of ebay immediately after release, for a great deal actually... the auction was ending early launch day, so people hadn't figured out how well it was going to ebay, so I was able to get the system and Marvel Ultimate Alliance (Albeit and incredibly crappy game) for only about 30 bucks more than just the system would cost in stores.
I got mine at EB Games on launch day. I did my waiting in line when I was preordering it at the begining of November. I can't believe it's still so hard to find one. Good luck to all who are still looking
November 19th i was second in line only behind my friend who's dad and older sister how was visting from collage stayed with us all 32 hours that i waited
Best Buy, waited for two hours on Launch Day, didn't get it, five days later at EB games waited for ten minutes, they had four. Finally, a week after launch, at Best Buy, waited for five ****ing hours. November cold is torture in Chicago. Me and my bro were hiding in the entranceway so no one would see it and try to steal it, there was this lady, she was eyeing it.... Anyways, Wii 4 Mii. Camping out is a lot of fun, you meet some interesting people, I would do it again. You become friends for a few hours, share Nintendo Power magazines, play some DS, talk about what games you're gonna get. Really a great experience.
