I play my DS most often on the can. Its better than reading a book anyways. But sometimes it can be difficult to concentate on your game with the toxic auromas and the need to exert pressure out of your rear end.
I usually just play my DS at home but I'll also take it into college, it can help relieve the boredom during the breaks when I have no friends around and nothing to do.
I generally don't have that much time for video games anymore, so having the DS with me is awesome. When I have a spare 15 minutes, I can whip it out and get a fix (because often now it's all I get in a day).
That being said, I play it anywhere. It's kind of portable, and I hear that portables are good for that sort of thing.
