Where is Advance Wars?

Days of Ruin was the last entry in the series, and that was four years ago. I'm shocked that we haven't heard anything about a new entry in the series for the 3DS. Thoughts?

It better have everything DoR had and more.

I can wait, just please go back to the more light hearted art style of AWDS.

I hated almost everything about DoR except for the addition of online play, and I was terrible at it.

Intelligent Systems is working on Paper Mario 3DS and Fire Emblem Awakening right now, but I'm sure another Advance Wars will happen

Anyway, can't wait for a game but I don't expect any announcement soon. They are working on Paper Mario and Fire Emblem so maybe after one of those is released?

Me too. I have only played Black Hole Returns so I was hoping for the first more specifically. I am hoping for a 3DS version but we do at least have Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars in the meantime for our turn-based strategy needs.

I think we might hear something about the next one close to the end of the year, though we probably wont get it until atleast the summer of 2013. After all, Intelligent Systems is working on the next Fire Embleme and Paper Mario, and they were working on Pushmo (I love pushmo).
