I think this game would be great on the Wii as you could select troops and move them around the Map using the Wii's remote. What ever happened to this game or any strategy game on the Wii for that matter? This is one type of game that has had poor execution on previous consoles but will succeed on the Wii because the Wiimote is just like a mouse. What are your thoughts on this? I think they could easily make a Pikmin, Warhammer, Starcraft or CnC strategy game on the Wii and it would work beautifully.
im willing to bet 1million dollors that were gana see pikmin 3 by the end of wii gen we got 4 more years dont expect nintendo to release all there good games in one year then there would be nothing left for 08,09,10 etc
i hope they come out w/ a pikmin 3. i got pikmin 2 last year used and i had good fun w/ it even though i didn't get real far in it ut it was still a fun experience

what the hell? pikmin's controls were perfect.....mouse controls would just take all the fun out of being on the ground with your pikmin.....MOUSE CONTROLS WOULDN'T EVEN WORK!!!......i hate you....you weren't nice to my favorite game.....Â

Don't misunderstand me here. I'm not saying Pikmin was bad; I'm saying strategy games usually don't work well on consoles most of the time. Pikmin 1 & 2 were great games but... how many other great strategy game have there been for consoles? Not many. It seems more likely for them to make a bunch of shooters than strategy games for consoles these days. Maybe the PC is better designed for strategy games (better resolution for a bigger field of view, mouse is better than a joystick for commanding units etc...). You may disagree with me.

that's not what you said before.....but whatever....as long as we agree pikmin with mouse controls would suck majorly we're all good.....Â
I'd get Pikmin for Wii controls, wasn't too interested previously. But Command and Conquer is the daddy. There's Battalion Wars 2 coming out (best upcomming game this year for Wii IMO), but thats more of an action strategy.
