Please stop asking this question, people! The DS forum is flooded with SSB questions. No it's not happening! There needs to be a sticky about this...Raykuza
Thank you! I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees this.OMG, its not u, its EVERYBODY who says this................
*****The developers can't make a DS port BECAUSE they are currently programming BRAWL.*****
It will also come to the virtual console, thus making a port pointless.

i dont see why it shoudnt come out it be a great success i think and the multiplayer would be awesomeken8659
Because the DS isn't a console.
i mean it would be a really good game if it came out does anyone know if its in devoplment ken8659It's on the Wii, after they make that, then they can work on an SSB for the DS
it would be cool to have another supersmash bros because they ussally make one for every new nitendow sysetem so they should make oneManningfan10GBA didn't get one and it came out around the same time as the GC.
i think ssb will be good on the ds if it had 2d graphics. if its like jump superstars am sold!ken8659Yeah really. Considering how well JSS works on the DS an SSB with some limited touch controls seems like a no brainer for Nintendo. With the DS at the top of it's game I don't think it's too late to release one either, if Nintendo could get one out in the next year or so they could make a fortune and sell even more DS systems. Maybe they could enlist Ganbarion (developers of the JSS games) to start working on a new SSB for DS.

Just be content with JUS and JSS on the DS. I doubt the DS will see a super smash brothers. Many hard-core fans of the series would get angry, since the long playing ones are used to wavedashing, short hopping, l-canceling, and other stuff that the DS can't manage easily. We still haven't seen a Fire Emblem on the DS. Hope for that, first.
Wait, did someone say that it would be too far in the DSes lifespan? It still has a good 3 years, If you go by the GBA standard.
I honestly think that SSB on DS would look terrible. Now if it was for the PSP, then I would feel pretty confident that the PSP could handle what SSB would offer. DS just doesn't have the capabilities to me, considering that SSB is such a fast-paced game where a lot of things are happening at once. I also wouldn't like to play SSB without a joystick (Mariokart got by). YimbieBut if it did came out on the PSP you wouldn't play it right? The whole 'joystick' thingy ?
