Where is the best place to meet people through street pass?

So I took my 3dS to a busy movie theater, downtown (but not during the busiest day), and also a shopping center and nobody. Any ideas?

Yeah, I tend to not bring my 3DS out and about, unless I'm visiting relatives. Plus I live in chicago, and the weather has been in the upper 90s and humid. That can't be good for electronics.

I use my 3DS at school and I always find people. Also, if you take it to Gamestop, you're more than likely to find somebody.

You just have to bring it around with you everywhere you go. I got 2 hits so far, one in Target and one when I was going up to PA to visit my cousin.

I suggest busy air ports, train stations, malls, school, basicly all public areas.

I walked through the entire city of Boston and got NOTHING! Come on Boston! I can't believe not a single person out of the 600,00 HAD THEIR 3DS ON!!!

i got over 50 when i went to nyc especially nintendo world

Yeah I was thinking of trying Target andtrymy college when classesstarts up. I almost brought it to my work at Albertson's, but I felt that would be a little embarrassing.

But yeah I was surprised when I got nobody in a crowded downtown area. 10,000 people must been walking around.

ye i also got a lot of hits just walking around in new york (downtown), i went for a vacation down there and got a ton of hits. i live up in Canada, when i was here i got a few hits here and there. luckily for me i always seem to find at least one person when i take my 3ds out.

I finally got one person from Best Buy. I got nobody from GameStop. Because hardly anyone in the store. But I will for sure go to Best Buy more often now to see if I can get more hits.

I live close to a mall and that place is always busy. But the 3DS is only four months old and sales aren't that high yet. I suggest waiting a while before you get annoyed by your notifications :P

I am going to try another Gamestop and Best Buy tomorrow.

Join a streetpass gathering, there are usually held every month across the globe.

The StreetPass gatherings are in the most populated area right now. The closest one is like 2 hours away in Fresno.
