I will be traveling to my brother in laws next week and he too has a Wii fit plus. I want to know if I can just take my Wii F Plus disk to put into his console so that I can maintain my data and keep up with my routine, or do I need to take the console and disk?

The Wii stores data in its internal memory. The Wii discs are not rewritable.

If he has the Disc......then you don't need to take your disc. The Data stored on the Wii is on the Console....I can't believe you thought that Discs worked like Cartdriges....I mean....*sigh*.....

Data is stored on console, however, buy a wii sd card and copy ur wii fit data on to it and bring it to your friends house. Then you cand take the sd memory and put it on to his console.

I dont remember the last time any game disc could be written to on any game console .... infact actually no console has ever saved data to its game CD (correct me if I'm wrong of course)

I do not believe so lol. BTW sometimes small things like game saves are on the wiimote by option. but yes, it is on flash memory on the Wii.
