where would you guys rate the wii as in terms of nintendo consoles?

Too hard to say really. I love all the Nintendo consoles.

SNES> NES> Wii> N64> GCN for me

Snes > N64 > Nes > Gamecube > Wii.

It's tie with the SNES for me, my first being the NES of course.

Like everyone else its SNES then Wii but i wouldn't say a snes 1 Wii 2 its more like Snes 1 Wii 1a for me.

It has some memorable games, but in the end its probably going to be one of the more forgettable game consoles. It is different, but the games just aren't there if you ask me.

Yer in the end its the same game with motion control tacked on...if they made improvements like RE1 on GC then I'd reconsider. ;)

The motion control is an improvement... and if I remember correctly the Wii version has the PS2 version's bonus content.

2. Wii
3. GC

5. GBA

Wii is godly, so many good games, the 3 best Mario games ever, my favorite Metroid, my favorite new IPs from Nintendo (the Wii series), Twilight Princess, Super Paper, Epic Yarn, LKS, Excitebots, Klonoa, No More Heroes 1 and 2, I could go on.

2: N64

3: Wii

4: Gamecube

5: NES or maybe the GBA

Dude why do you get so defensive when someone disagrees about your opinion with the wii besing the best Nintendo console? I guarantee you 90% of people who have played other Nintendo consoles won't say the Wii is the best, infact most people label the Wii as one of the worst Nintendo consoles.

nah your wrong... the wii is very popular... most of those people dont even know what an nes snes or gamecube are... to them its the only console they own.. therfore the best.

It's a good thing I was talking about the people who played other Nintendo consoles. Of course people who only played one Nintendo console would think that the only console that they played would be the best :roll:

It's my personal favourite. I got into the SNES way too late, mostly ignored the N64 and didn't get a GameCube until 2005. Wii is the only Nintendo console I've owned from day one and I'm still having a blast almost 4 years later. I can't believe I have 50 games for it now.

The Wii is one of my favorite (and one of the best) Nintendo consoles...by far. But I think I logged in more hours on my 'Cube. I just had more free time back then :) GameCube was my first Nintendo home console.

I entered the Nintendo market just until N64 as I'm a loyal Atarian (just recently sold my computers), although I also played a good amount of NES and SNES with friends and neighbors After all of this, Wii is my favorite console up to now, with GC being the second one (well, my Atari 2600 would be my second favorite but you asked about Nintendo only) Regardsenrique_marrodz
