Where's New Play Control Pikmin 2?

I have been waiting for it to be releasedin the U.S. Is it coming or not? I'm about to buy the Gamecube version but I like the Wii controls better and I would rather support the franchise by buying a new game.

I would buy it. Bought the first NP control one.

i'm also wondering where it is as well.

i never played pikmin 1 or 2. so i got NPC pikmin, and now i want the second one.

hopefully its in a shallow grave somewhere so all its resources can be devoted to Pikmin 3

(or a Pikmin Trilogy box set)

I thout it had a Japanese release date?

The gamecube contols aren't that bad at all.

I actually prefered how you could use the C-stick to control which direction the pikmin went.

You guys should just go with that. Pikmin 2 is fantastic.

Australia's had it for about half a year...

I'm guessing:

A) They're waiting till Pikmin 3's release gets closer so they can release it then to build up hype.

b) They're going to bundle it Metroid Prime Trilogy style

I have no idea when it's coming, but Shigeru Miyamoto once said, "a delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever". Nintendo's probably taking their own sweet time with New Play Control Pikmin 2, but when they finally get around to releasing it, I will be overjoyed!

From what I've heard, it's only been released in Japan and Europe, though I'm not 100% sure with Europe. Chances are it's either going to come to the US late or not at all, sadly. I do recommend, for those who've never played it, to get your hands on a copy of the Gamecube version. Both Pikmin 1 and 2 are great for the GC and the controls are pretty good.
