Where is Pit? We have not seen another Kid Icarus game since 1987, I think Kid Icarus deserve a game for the Wii, it was a great game for the NES, one of my favorite. I can still remember the sound of the Grim Reaper.. CLASSIC!

I think NINTENDO need to have new mascott for their system, yeah Mario and the gang is all fun.. but i'm sick of Pokemon, Link and such... really sick of Link & Zelda...really...

I think there is great potentiel in a game like Kid Icarus, just read this :

Despite being overshadowed by Metroid, Kid Icarus is regularly recognized as a significant game. It was awarded the 84th slot in IGN's 2003 list of the Top 100 Games of All Time and was also inducted into the GameSpy Hall of Fame. In Volume 199 of Nintendo Power, it was voted number 54 in a list of the top 200 games of all time.

Sure we'll seePit in the upcoming Brawl for the Wii, but i think Nintendo could bring an old friend with his own game for the Wii.

I think playing a flying Angel with a bow and arrow with the Wii Control sounds great!

So what do you think? Would you like to see a Kid Icarus game for the Wii?

Kid Icarus' chances dropped once the Virtual Console came into being.

Before that you could hear some of the fans talk nicely about the game and gain some interest from people who never played the game. Having a Kid Icarus game sounded good because they heard the first game was so good.

Then in comes the Virtual Console and who never played it before downloaded it and exclaimed "THIS is supposed to be a great game?"

It was a filler title in the NES' library. Underwhelming visuals even for the time and to offset the gameplay they ratcheted up the difficulty.

If people never got a chance to play the first one I would say maybe, now that so many people really know about the franchise there's no way a new game would be made.

I don't think so.

Kid Icarus was no doubt a good game for it's time but obviously it's severely outdated. Besides, believe it or not, some people still like the game. A sequel to the game would obviously more up to date and, perhaps, good? This is Nintendo. They are the ones coming out with most of the quality titles for the Wii at the moment.

If people didn't like the first one, then why would Nintendo make a sequel that's as bad? They wouldn't. It's been over 20 years since the first one came out. It doesn't mean that even though people didn't like the first one, they wouldn't buy the second one if they had heard good things, right?

Take for example Devil May Cry. The first one was met by praise and more praise. The second one came out and, well, this one wasn't. Then Devil May Cry 3 came out and it's back up again.

So basically what I'm trying to get at is that even though a sequel or prequel may be bad, it doesn't mean that whatever comes after that is.

I understand what you're saying, But a NEW Kid Icarus game would generate internet buzz, and for sure, it would be better than games like : Dragon Blade, Billy the Wizard, Dewy's Adventure... etc..

I think if i was able to produce and develop a game, i would be more confident about making the new Kid Icarus game.. instead of an Unknown game..
